Learning to Be Yourself … It's Ok, Really

Guest Blogger, Mike Halperin on the fourth law of The Go-Giver, the "Law of Authenticity: The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself."

As a sixty year old adult, I can still hear my mother speaking to me as a young child:  "if you don’t have something nice to say, then don’t say it." I believe most of us have learned similar maxims from our parents. Well-intentioned, those powerful words for me

  1. Thank you for sharing that story, Mike. You are inspirational. You have given me a reason to be extremely grateful today. I am grateful that I get to be my authentic self (well, as much as possible) while doing my "job". You can't get much more authentic than when you are laughing! For that one hour I get to be in the present moment. It is a precious gift. I'm so glad I read this post this morning. I'm going to try to be authentic all day today. 😉
